In 2012, 2013 and 2014 Bennett chaired the industry advisory committee at the University of Central Florida's Rosen School of Hospitality. The Rosen School and its nearly 3000 students is considered a top source for hospitality recruiting. Bennett who also lectures at the school, believes this program's approach is an industry trend setter.

 

In 2019 she continues  her involvement as Past Chair, working to support, mentor and promote the leaders of tomorrow.
